I buy quite a few guitars. Mainly Gibson's Fenders Squiers, I fancied a change and someone local was selling a high end Ibanez. It's an awesome guitar. Pics will follow.

That's a nice start, Dave!

:laugh2:

Actually you have about twice as many electrics as I do.

Yes, mostly acoustics. I had approximately sixty-three stringed-instruments, but that includes a couple each of violins, mandolins and banjos as well as a few 'other' stringed instruments (like African, Asian and Middle Eastern stringed-instruments).

Lately, since I'm getting older, play out much less and plan to retire soon, probably moving into a smaller home, I've decided I need to downsize a bit. I've given a few nice guitars to my daughter (who is a very talented guitarist) and a couple to my son (who plays a bit but is basically just a 'strummer'). A couple more given to nieces and nephews.

I'd like to get it down to maybe a dozen or so, maybe three or four electrics and nine or ten acoustics. As you can imagine, deciding which ones to part with isn't easy. Each guitar case doesn't hold only just a guitar, but lots of memories as well.

I recently sold Strat and tried to sell a Les Paul, but I don't think I could ever sell a Telecaster.
