Hey I wanna know every last weird or uncommon chord there is. I mean stuff that you don't usually see. I think Dadfad turned my attention to this A [002225]. I love it, and I wanna know of any other uncommon chords. Things like [044320] or (my personal favorite) [x09655].

So bring em on!

My god, is that actually possible? I mean without a capo on 3rd. I just can't see that happening.

Aadd9
x07600

experiment with this shape by sliding it up and down the neck and see what you come up with

4x444x
this is an unusual way of play a common chord - Em7 (i think) it gives it quite a different sound tho, this shape can also be moved around the neck

This is a nice chord that dadfad showed me -B11+9 - X21230

9ths also sound cool e.g. D9 = X54555

I like the sound of the Maj7. D maj7 is X57675

I have been experimenting lately holding a note down with my middle finger and picking the note with my ring finger or pinky with my strum hand(right) so I can get a FM7 chord that look like this:

12
1
2
3
X
X

It's akward and I have to strum up on the neck but I tought if I could get good at it maybe someday it will be useful for a different effect.

Wonders if you could play fast enough, if it would turn back into one tone ?

Ok first of all pbaxter can you gimme the numbers for that chord, and then can you also lift my jaw back up?? That's completely insane, I can only hope it sounds like the coolest furken thing ever!

Then secondly, I love X57675 too. Sounds very jazzy, very smooth, slow, downright cool.

Then, dead_president, try this: play any chord (bar chords are better I think) and then slide down one fret. It'll sound jazzy too  Every now and then I get pissed off at playing stuff I know or have heared before so I just make up weird chord combinations and hope it sounds good. And when it doesn't I just slide down one fret and it sounds jazzy.

Good good, keep em comin' guys!
