Elsewhere in this website, you will find some song clips, lyrics and reviews. SLASH's Snakepit began their tour by opening for AC/DC on the North American leg of their tour. This gave the band huge exposure.

Great read, learnt alot from that. Never expected Slash to be an ex-biker! Cool!

But, what site did you get that from?

I got most of it from Slash's Snakepit.com . I will admit that i did take a lot of the biography from here and incorporated some stuff into i forgot to edit out some stuff though did take a long time to check through it all anyway legends 3 is all written by me not alot knocked off from websites .

Slash is cool, but he is actually only one of many, many cool guitarists.

I never said he was the only cool guitarist. Read more carefully next time

legends 3 should be about Curt Kirkwood.

Are you firebirddude?

Actually, no. I've heard alot about firebirddude and have read some past posts from back in the day. It seems like firebirddude and I share some common interests and have similar attitudes about some things. In fact we have some of the same gear. Though it's not exactly the same. It would be nice if I could actually meet him. But I have no idea what his name is or how to get in touch with him.
But yes, I would like to see Curt Kirkwood get more props. It seems firebirddude had alot of respect for him. So do I.

Actually Slash's new band they mentioned id VELVET REVOLVER and Scott Weiland from STP is the singer. They already put out 'Set Me Free" from the Hulk Soundtrack and their first album is set to be released this Spring. And then a tour backing it up. I think they'll be frickin awesome. SLASH IS THE MAN!!!!

mike patton from mr bungle was offered the job as singer for the new ex GnR band, but he turned them down as hes too busy

Was Mike Patton once the frontman for Faith No More by any chance? If so it's a damn shame he couldn't become Velvet Revolver's lead singer. A very talented vocalist with an interesting voice, IMO.
