My favourite basslines are easy to play but just sound so good:
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird , Tuesday's Gone, Simple Man
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child Of Mine

There's always a bassline of the day but I never get tired of these.

Weird song with a good bassline there, Paulie. Do you have a full and complete tab for it? I found a tab here, but I don't know how it got through. ohmy.gif The kid admitted to not having a complete tab, and yet, here 'tis.

yes!

tool - 46 & 2 has an awesome bassline, or anything by tool for that matter.
as does weak and powerless by APC,
and the lemon song by zeppelin has some nice bass work in it.

One of my favorite songs by Chick and Return To Forever is "Goodbye Mickey Mouse"....pretty easy but sounds pretty nice..
