I was going to get a Jackson DK2 Dinky, but when I saw these Flying guitars I thought I'd check them out. The one I want is the FG-85. It seems pretty nice, but I've never really heard of them so I'm looking for input. The guitar has everything I want, angled headstock, Floyd Rose trem, HSH pickup config, and 24 frets. I don't really mind if the electronics aren't the greatest, I can fix that myself. I'm more concerned with the construction of the guitar. I know for $200 it won't be the greatest, but I'm not expecting it to be.

So, anyone ever deal with this company?

i didnt know guitars could fly. You think i could teach my Tele to fly that'd be pretty cool at a gig.

Do you think it could pick the guitarist up with it? I think it would be a pretty cool effect when you played "Flyin' High Again"

I don't know about the construction quality of that particular guitar, but V's are all notoriously uncomfortable to play. Almost impossible sitting down, and still uncomfortable even standing up. The great blues "V-master" Albert King used one (originally a Cort Flying-V) because he found a cheap used one in a pawn shop and bought it because it was all he could afford at that time. As blues became more popular and he got more famous, he became known for using a V and when he started making more money, he started using Gibsons.

Un-plugged is not the same as never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.
