$2000 Canadian, I'm sure. Even though the exchange rate isn't that bad for us anymore, prices haven't dropped at all.

No thats US. 2000 bucks MSRP for a brand new Schecter C-1 Exotic. There is a review of it in a Guitar Player magazine that I have. Its expensive yes but would be well worth the money, to hell with a crappy Les Paul too, not to mention its lighter.
The Schecter website says $1179. Your magazine must be full of lies.
