Telecaster. In particular, the Teles based on the old teles of the '50's/'60's.

Telecasters indeed HMB, one day I'd love to own a thinline '72 tele
Everybody's bragging and drinking that wine
I can tell the Queen of Diamonds by the way she shine
Come to Daddy on an inside straight
I got no chance of losing this time
No, I got no chance of losing this time

I figure I could happily accommodate a few more Teles (alternate tunings, etc), wouldn't mind the Vintage '52 Tele.

The strat of course, Imo it can go heavy like a les paul and sounds great with the neck pickup in for some solo'ing
My setup

Fender Mexican strat Sunburst/maple

Cort Solid top Accoustic, fishman pickup

Marshall JCM 900 Dual Reverb 50watt Hi Gain combo (upgraded to Celestion G12 M Greenbacks and Class A conversion)

1985 Fender Telecaster 62 reissue (with some modern parts on it)

A bit of an unusual choice, most folk seem to be leaning towards Strats and Teles at the moment.

Question: Are the necks on the reissues really chunky?

I've never played one, but my tele has a really thin neck...

Mine can, but that's because I've added a gain booster to it.

And I prefer Strats.
