OK, so you don't need to be a die-hard Eddie fan to spot the mistakes in it, but still though, this kid's only 13. Not a bad effort. He's got the two handed tapping bit down fairly well too.

Because it's like so many others? Like other videos that get posted here? I don't actually care werther you're impressed with it or not. I was just making a point. If you don't like that, that's your business.

Guitar playing starts with tone and ends with attitude. he had nothing of either. or anything between. but hes 13. theres still time.

Ok maybe guitar god was a little too much but people overrate people who can play fast or "play" eruption at a young age. I know i could not do that at 13 and i give him props but its nothing amazing.

You have to realize though that it wasnt just playing fast. he was playing eruption, with some mistakes, yes, but thats not the point. that is excellent for a thirteen year old guitarist.

it does'nt matter how old you are. It matters how long you've been playing. If he's been playing since he was 9 it's not such a big deal. Now if he started when he was 12 yeah, then it's something to brag about.

I hadn't even touched a guitar at 13, so he's way ahead of me already.

It's all relative, though. Compared to most 13 year olds who practice, it's average. Compared to most 13 year olds, i'd say it's impressive. I hate these kind of debates where people argue over whether it's impressive or not. That's cool that the kid even digs playing the guitar.

Most kids of 13 don`t understand such things as emotion and attitude in their playing, that comes with experiance. But this kid will learn, coz if nothing else, the piece of footage shows what can be attained with practice and perseverance. It sets a good example, to all those young peeps(and a few of us olduns) that you can attain any goal you want with the work you put in. Instead of critisizing his tone and attitude, accept it for what it is. A kid who is proud of his achievement, and wants to show it off. he`s goona make a fine guitar player someday.
