personally i found that parrallel universe is an easy song to play with my finger. one song that comes to mind is scarafied by racer x. Its quite hard and realy fun to play because it follows the quitar.

Try Parallel Universe by RHCP if it's a challenge you want. <img src="http://www.guitarzon...R#>/yesani.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yesani.gif" />
Flea uses a pick though. Try it with your fingers, now thats extremely hard to get all the way through.

I've never seen flea use a pick. Although it does make sense for that song. I just would've thought he had Forearms of steel and it doesn't bother him=P.

But for the guy looking for some good Chili Pepper songs. Skinny Sweaty man, Get up and Jump, Blackeyed blond. Or something easier like Otherside, Can't stop. The first three actually I heard about in an interview with flea. He takes the main riffs of two of them, and shows how to play them.

For can't stop, there's some cool slapping in that song. There's also a fill directly after the slapping part, I wouldn't worry too much about it though if you can't get it. It's not THAT important.

Flea Slap/Pop Lesson

there's the video. haha.

Jeff Berlin's stuff is extremely difficult if not impossible to play.
I've been working on a few tunes for years and can't get past 90%.
It's that 10% that makes him a cut above the rest.
His fingers are not human.

The Awakening by Les Claypool,The pot by tool and GoodTimes Bad Times by Led Zeppelin which is fun to play but it will take time to learn.

I have to disagree about The Pot. Good song, and fun to play, but not especially hard.

Alain Caron, stunning. but sometimes the hardest bass parts to play are the easiest. example, Under Pressure. simple line but has to be so accurate with timing, in fact you can hear John Deacon struggling on the 5th and 9th repeat of the riff.  http://www.youtube.c...?v=xtrEN-YKLBM  The hardest thing about being a bass player, is to stop trying to be the lead guitarst. :-)

It's not really too difficult, just getting it up to speed is a little challenging, but Get on the Floor by Michael Jackson...I've been learning it the last couple days and it's a fun groove to play with
