Would this be a good deal?

I would really like to know because I want to buy it. But I don't know if it's a good deal or even if I need it. Will it sound like an acoustic when it's clean?

I like the blue one better but would the sunburst catch a better resale price?

Take a look for yourself

How long have you been playing? Do you already have a guitar? And have you played this guitar?

I've never played the guitar, but I can tell you it will not sound like an acoustic when clean and get the blue if you like it more, there isn't going to be a resale value on a $149 guitar.

From what I've heard of it, it's a good deal. I've heard OS's are decent quality guitars. I haven't played one, but that's word on the street.

They are a good beginner guitar but that's it. There isn't much resale value w/ them and usually worth more to you if it plays well than for you to sell it.

You'll have to play them. There may be things like protruding fret ends and bad intonation one some of them. I would mail order one and buy sight unseen.

You haven't even got it yet and your already worried about resale? Play before you buy unless the place has a 30 day try out policy.

Let us know how it is.

check this out - I just got one a few days ago and I can't put it down. very easy to play, and melodies find you. Gigged with this puppy and was really suited to everything from Jazz to Country and Blues. Awsome guitar - you cannot go wrong. I love my strat, but boy this is so versitile and warm. Peavey makes good guitars.

Never played one but it looks like utter shi t.
Let the pretend take over
And that season be the first
Shadows we're in become us
So we set up interspersed
Between here and away
Become your space every day

Any brand new guitar costing $150 is going to be a bit crap, I'm afraid.

You could probably get some interesting sounds from it though.
