Hello GTUers! Been too long! Ihave not been able to play since a deer ran into my car last year and messed up my neck even more. Anyway...a new doctor told me to get rid of my 3/4 sized A&L AIM and play a bigger guitar. I went into a music store near me and found a 25 year old Asturias for $180.00. All the research I hAVE DONE SHOWS THAT A NEW ONE GOES FOR AT LEAST $1000.00. tHE GUITAR SOUNDS GREAT and I love being able to play again:)

Glad to see you back, Stu. Sounds like a good bargain and good therapy as well! I've always liked bigger guitars myself anyway and I think as the ol' finger-joints have tightened up a little over the years using a bigger guitar (especially a bigger neck) helps minimize the... dexterity issues... a little.

Un-plugged is not the same as never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

Thanks. I've looked into the Asturias guitar and am more and more amazed that I picked it up for less than $200.00. Some of the new ones are going for $2000! It sounds great and I LOVE playing again.

Enjoy it. You can't really quit guitar, can you? smile.gif

And you can't really quit GTU, Stu. I never even tried the former, and I never will. The latter is not a good idea either.

Glad to hear that you play again smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
