I've thought about getting an oil can guitar to play slide on.

Let the pretend take over
And that season be the first
Shadows we're in become us
So we set up interspersed
Between here and away

Well, I made it, but it didn't turn out too good (it has VERY high action and there's no specific tuning since I'm afraid I will bust the thing). I'm not gonna post pics. Sorry if I let y'all down.

I would like to make one just as a project, but I definitely haven't got the initiative. Whether I'd actually play it is irrelevant.

I can't imagine playing one if I made one.

I feel like those would be good for novelty but really is just a thing to do if you're bored, it seems to me it serves more of a distraction from actually playing and getting better at the guitar. Just looks like another counterproductive time-killer to me. I rather just play my electric or acoustic and get better at that.
I am very prone to typos, sorry

I would have to play one to decide if there are tones in one of those cigar box guitars that would be useful to me in my recording. If they can make me come up with ideas that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise then it would be worth my time to have one. One of the cool things about cigar box guitars though is that I could stash my weed in it.

Nothing will ever top Van Halen's Michael Anthony's Jack Daniels Bass:

You honestly have to "stash" it somewhere?

I'd definitely consider making one sometime. I think it would be fun to make, and probably fun to just play around on sometimes.
