Well since my last post about relabeling a guitar went over so well. Here is another one I going to have someone paint the headstock white then air brush some zebra strips on it. I haven't figured out who yet I told the guy at my local guitar shop about this he told me to find a Luthier he didn't know of one. He said I could take it to a bike shop that they could do it for me anyone every heard of that? The question is what logo decal would be a good choice? I first thought I should get a Kramer logo to put on it. But then I realized that you could quickly tell it wasn't buy the headstock. So does anyone know of a guitar that has a headstock that looks like mine? I am now thinking about an LTD decal anyone know of a well known guitar name I could slap on there without it looking to transparent.

I will take a better picture if you need me to

bike shops or tattoo shops.

I'm taking mine to a tattoo shop more than likely...

They'll do a fine job.
Ibanezdude: How can you say that Paige or Iommi are bad guitarists?
sot: They are bad guitarists because they are not very good at playing guitar

That was a simple question. No need to call me a dickhead but alas, you are showing your true colors. You sig line alone should be enough to get you banned. I'm surprised you are even allowed here this long.

(Just play ) I am Just playing and I'm having fun my sh itty guitar sounds good. I don't understand saving my money buy a two thousand dollar guitar and then being to afraid to play it and have fun with it. besides I'm not trying to impress people or trying to sell it under a fake name or anything like that. I'm going to paint the headstock anyway the logo will be covered up. I don't want to just leave it blank. Will you please explain to me what's so wrong about that? Also if someone would try to answer my question I would appreciate it

No point in relabling a crappy guitar, thats as bad as those Chinese people on ebay who sell crappy knockoffs of good guitars. No point in making something that is crummy look like something good.

First of all would be illegal in my legal system and it's probably illegal about everywhere. Trademarks are protected by intellectual property rights. So I guess you could remove the mark, as long as the guitar is only for your use and you don't want to sell it under different name, you can invent some other name too, like Bender, or you can put your name/initials on it.

Secondly, as said above, I see absolutely no point about that. For example a Squier Strat has a slightly different shape and can be told at once from a Fender Stratocaster. I think a relabeled Squier strat would look somehow pathetic displaying just gear complexes if anything.

Thirdly, it's not the label that matters. It only matters how it sounds and feels. If you want some quality logo on your guitar, get Seymour Duncan pickups and you'll get the name on the pickup covers (it goes off surprisingly fast though. After two years not much left on my white pickup cover anymore).

But of course it's feasible if you find a luthier who'd take that job.

It's not necessarily better... but if they have the right tools... they do more non-stenciled detail work than the bike shops on a smaller scale.

Plus most tattoo shops do henna... which makes them at least decent with an airbrush.
