Why don't you just put something like your name or initials or a design or something or even just correct logo on the headstock instead of an incorrect logo? Someone decent with an airbrush, like a tattoo guy or custom-bike guy could use fancy script lettering or copy what you want. Also, there are lots of letter and design decals available, as well as decal-paper available for printers to copy something off the net or using Microsoft Word fonts, etc.

(Oh, and as was mentioned above about your sig. Clearly it does violate the site's rules. I'm not the kind of mod to ban guys over some b.s. or anything unless I get an actual complaint, but there are other mods who will in a flash if they happen to notice your sig and feel like doing it. It would... behoove you... (haha! How often does anybody use that word?)... to consider another one or edit that one slightly.)

And "Osama" Chatmon in MisterHat's sig was one of the finest pre-war blues guitarists who ever picked up a Gibson.

Un-plugged is not the same as never-was-plugged-in-to-begin-with.

Dang, whats with all the relabeling? Why not just sell some stuff and get an actual Kramer, or an actual Gibson instead of pretending your current guitars are Kramer's and Gibsons? huh.gif Honestly, I'm not being sarcastic or anything.

Dont waste money on a ###### guitar.

No matter what you do to it the wood will still be the same.

QUOTE (OneLostGuitarist @ Jan 19 2007, 06:04 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Well since my last post about relabeling a guitar went over so well. Here is another one I going to have someone paint the headstock white then air brush some zebra strips on it. I haven't figured out who yet I told the guy at my local guitar shop about this he told me to find a Luthier he didn't know of one. He said I could take it to a bike shop that they could do it for me anyone every heard of that? The question is what logo decal would be a good choice? I first thought I should get a Kramer logo to put on it. But then I realized that you could quickly tell it wasn't buy the headstock. So does anyone know of a guitar that has a headstock that looks like mine? I am now thinking about an LTD decal anyone know of a well known guitar name I could slap on there without it looking to transparent.

I will take a better picture if you need me to

That guitar headstock, is very simlar to a BURNS Batwing Headstock.

Like others have said, be original, design your own motiff.

I would recommend not relabeling the headstock. It'll look kickass with just the zebra stripes.
Ibanezdude: How can you say that Paige or Iommi are bad guitarists?
sot: They are bad guitarists because they are not very good at playing guitar

I also agree with ConfuciousDragon. Just using Zebra stripes looks cool, or the original name.
Don't try to fake another brand onto it.

Customising your guitar to make it better or just look nicer (to you) = good idea

Trying to pass it off as a better or different brand = sad!

ya put more zebra stripes on the head
Let the pretend take over
And that season be the first
Shadows we're in become us
So we set up interspersed
Between here and away
Become your space every day
