And the ones in regular text, I have never heard before, but am guessing there's not much to them.

Are ye serious??? *shock*

You never heard "Hunky Dory" "Ziggy Stardust" "Wish You Were Here" "Exile On Main Street" and "Let It Bleed?"

Yeah i was suprised as well. As with all polls, it`s subjective to age, and taste. In my top 50 most of those albums would not be there. biggrin.gif

Then Neal went and made it totally worse.

Anyone who thinks Absolution is brilliant and London Calling is ###### is in need of psychiatric help.

While London Calling is a masterpiece, Absolution is merely good.

+1

They're in different leagues. There are a lot of very ordinary albums in that list, and a lot of great albums they missed out ("Village Green Preservation Society" anyone?).

That list is a pile of bollocks and this comes from a staunch Oasis fan.

Definitely Maybe deserves a place but no.1 is goin a bit too far, it kicks ass as an album but it is far too derivative, borders on pastiche and blatantly robs from other works.

The whole list is a popularity contest and is only really interesting from that one point of view, I suppose it is kinda cool to see what the general public are into.

There are only 3 songs less than 5 minutes long, and none less than 4 minutes long.

The songs are generally pretty average.

It's over-produced.

There's three reasons for you.
