Problem is that there are WAY too many good albums from those decades that I don't think any honest person could pick favourites from.

I just had a skim through my record collection, there are a few albums in there from the 00s that I love, Coldplays 2nd record, 2001 by Dre, Kasabian, Dido (mock all yous want couldn't give a sh*t!), The White Stripes, The Strokes, Death In Vegas, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The Coral..... I reckon it's been a better decade for American music, though I'm sure any current British Indie fans might have something to say about that.
