So the first step in going to europe is a success. I now have a job at subway. Today was my first day, and while I doubt I will like it nearly as much as working at the local restaurant its some kind of income. Now the next step is up in the air, It is either the motorcycle or getting my own place. If my relationship with my parents dissolves any more than my own place is a must. Any way I was wondering if any of you guys or gals own a motorcycle. I really don't know the first thing about them, And yea I am just kind of deciding what kind of bike I wanna get.

Congrats on the job. My advice is to be as frugal as you can, places like that just dont pay much.

Thanks! Yea a great advantage of living at home is I can be frugal, I don't have to buy my own food, not to mention the actual cost of renting. So yea I am gonna stick it out as long as I can here. And any way I kind of have to stay here at least until spring because I don't have a car and its basically impossible to get around N. Idaho with out one. And buying a car would really set me back money wise.

I like the idea of these stages. I gotta get a job too, lots and lots of unemployed people around now though.

If your goal is going to Europe, I would not get neither a permanent place nor a motorcycle.. Maybe get a motorcycle when you get over there.

I got let go on my first day working at subway for throwing food all over the floor. The manager was all like, "You're fired" before I could explain that I was the Jackson Pollock of sandwich artistry. Bastards gave me no creative control.

Follow @McWoggie to the gates of Hell. We're gonna ding-dong ditch them!
