Many people view Christianity as attending church, performing rituals, not committing certain sins. That is not Christianity. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior means placing your own personal faith and trust in Him. No one is saved by the faith of others. No one is forgiven by doing certain deeds. The only way to be saved is to personally accept Jesus as your Savior, trusting His death as the payment for your sins, and His resurrection as your guarantee of eternal life (John 3:16). Is Jesus personally your Savior?

Well?

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, say the following words to God. Remember, saying this prayer or any other prayer will not save you. It is only trusting in Christ that can save you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation. "God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I receive your offer of forgiveness and place my trust in You for salvation. I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! Amen!"

I think we need to educate kids on the Flying Spaghetti Monster in schools. It only makes sense.

Yup.

(My "yup" is to signify that I have accepted Jesus as my savior.)

I believe Jesus of Nazareth existed. I do not believe he is the Christ and Saviour, as I do not believe in God.

Don't the vast majority of historians agree he existed? They just disagree on the finer details of his life and how much of the Bible is true.

Actually, the existence of such a person is not seen outside of the bible (in historical context) until something like 150 years after his death, and that only mentions a Christ, not Jesus of Nazareth.

Where's James when you need him?
And say why it never worked for me.
Something to do with violence
A long way back, and wrong rewards,
And arrogant eternity.

That's because Christianity wasn't accepted in the Roman Empire until that many years after. It's natural that they'd try to keep the people from straying from conformity.

Well, piss, the BIBLE wasn't even written until 60 years after he "died". I see no reason to believe he ever existed, truly. It's a story. In the Old Testament, Joseph goes through the same situation... virgin birth... christhood (or an equivalent)... Many of the stories that happened to Jesus are taken from Egyptian mythology. The 10 commandments can be found in The Book of the Dead (I think... could be The Book of Life), except there are 90 more of them. His birth, death and resurrection matches astrological references. He's a work of fiction.

I had a VERY realistic dream once that I was a merchant in Jerusalem in the time of Jesus once, though... I've got a faint belief in reincarnation, so that almost inspired me to believe he existed. I did believe so at the time, but I've since come across information that says otherwise. Never thought he was a christ, though. Just a wise human telling people to look within themselves to find god. I read this quote somewhere... "We can speak to god through prayer... God speaks to us through meditation." It still makes sense if you realize that the only real god is your own conscience.
