for a while, i really liked this band. then suddenly i stoped listening to them. now i can't stand them. i dunno why... their musics still cool, i just can't stand them. i call it the U2 symptom.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Hacks. Complete twaddle. "Alternative" music for people who don't really like music.

Yeah, you like music so much more than other people. Right.

For a smart guy, you have some stupid, arrogant opinions about yourself, especially funny considering that you call me out on the same sh*t.

I never said anything about myself (although I don't deny my arrogance, that's another issue). My claim was about people who don't really like music but jsut use it as wallpaper. People like that quite often, in my experience, think that the Kings of Leon are the best thing since sliced bread. A handful of people who I reckon actually give a shte about music like the Kings of Leon but I must admit I'm mystified as to why.

It's possible to like music because it's fun.

Same reason people like The Strokes.

"Skank" refers originally to a style of dancing exuberantly associated with ska music but has since come to refer to dancing more generally.

KoL I usually find "meh"-worthy

I like a song called "Trani" by them, though.

Skitso's actually got a sort-of point. Certainly over here, Kings of Leon are adored by the kind of people who "totally live for music" but probably couldn't name you a band without a top 10 album.
