Imagine if the 70s rock of the likes of Led Zeppelin had been made post The Strokes. You've got a lot of the same guts, but modern loose production for a kind of rock meets indie sound. I find they can be a bit hit or miss, but they certainly have moments when they're pretty darned good.

I'll have to check em out.

yoz, i forget this often. i read in an article (rolling stone i think) that KoL are way bigger in europeepee than they are here. that might shed some light.
