lol @ vettel and kubica. feel a bit sorry for trulli, after starting from the pits. surely it wasn't really necessary to demote him to twelfth, as opposed to back to fourth?

Passing under the safety car is punishable by a drive-through or stop-go penalty, so it has to be punished after the race with a time penalty equivalent to one of those.

Also, I think Vettel's punishment is a bit harsh.

yeah, but then those stewards do get a bit trigger happy, as we saw last season.

True.

One of the funnier things today is how Bourdais is already being outpaced by Buemi. Just goes to show, yet again, how awful Indy Cars is, if Bourdais can win that 4 years in a row yet be outpaced by a complete novice.

The stewards are getting silly now.
Anyway, Brawn are looking good again for the weekend.

At this rate, I can see them disqualifying all the "diffuser" teams. That way the whole result will have been decided in court rooms.

What I find strange about all this is that long after Toyota dropped their appeal, the FIA started investigating McLaren for no apparent reason. They set out looking for something they could use to screw them and Hamilton again.

Here we go again, sports fans.
Jenson's looking good, but he's had a bit of smoke coming from his engine.

Nice lesson there for Ferrari - arrogance gets you nowhere.

And Jense just needs to get off the line ahead of Trulli (who presumably has a thimble-full of fuel in his car) and hope it stays dry.

Life is like a musical by Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Very popular and not as bad as some would have you believe. That is, unspeakably awful but mercifully brief.

That was a very fun race while it lasted. Button did brilliantly to get back out in front after the pit stops, and then stay there through the tyre choices. And very unusual to have half points awarded - first time since 1991 I believe.

Here we go again, petrol heads. Jenson's looking good, and Lewis looks hapier. Q2, and it's anybodys.
