no bugs to report but suggestions (because you have not been busy enough)

1: allign the member info shown on the left of posts to where it use to be. on the left, i dont like it centered.

2: now that we have the whole media feature enabled spammers can use this feature. i suggest making it only available to embed media (and links for that matter) after 10 posts.

cheers for the new toys man and its good to see you back

Great idea. In fact, I think it should be made that you can't even post a link until after 10 posts.

ALL users are able to include the same things inside of posts. The only permissions related to what shows in posts are: allow HTML use which is disabled for everyone (even me), and control over the size of signatures and the number of links and images they contain. So I don't think that will work. :mellowno:

And I think the member info looks fine centered. The fields (group, posts, joinded, etc.) are all aligned with each other, otherwise it would look bad. If lots of people want the change to the left, I'll do it, but it seems fine to me.

i know of other forum platforms that have the option of disabling members ability to see and post links and videos prior to reaching a set post count.

of course these forums are of a completely different software but i would imagine this platform having something similar. if thats not the case then its ok, we have good mods that can deal with the spam. it was just a suggestion anyway.

as for the alignment of info, i only suggest it to keep my lame obnoxious joke in play. if not, my tasty penis will have to go. it had a good run anyway.

At the risk of looking like an idiot if this is my fault, the forum went Spanish on me. I'm positive I didn't accidentally do anything. The drop down box in the lower left corner was suggested as a fix but it only shows English as an option, yet the site is in Spanish.

I click it, yes.

Now it's back to English, again, without my involvement.

ill chalk that up to be being awesome

however my awesomeness has limits, as is such, the "insert media" button does nothing but drop down a box when clicked on. i have not been able to to type in anything in the box making it worthless.

luckily the whole [ media ] [ /media ] & [ youtube ] [ /youtube ] codes work

That was my mistake that caused Spanish to be in a bunch of places for ~20 minutes. Sorry.

I did find a way to prevent users from posting in a specific forum UNTIL they have a certain post count minimum (or number of days since sign up). For example, "no one could post in discussion until they have 100 posts in the other forums"

But I don't see how that will help this situation.

Also, is anyone else having media problems with IE? What version, woogie?

I can't see my pm box.

Click your username in the top right for a dropdown box. Then click messanger for PM things.

It should still alert you on any forum page if you get a new one. Can you confirm that it's working for you?

I confirm that it's working now (the drop down box) but about the alert pop up you'd have to send me a "conversation" in order for me to confirm that.

Thanks! :D

This still hasn't been fixed. Any chance you can sort this out, Rob?

Clicking on a link someone posted doesn't open it in a new tab any more. It just opens the link in the same window.
