Mister Vosshenrich makes and creates different types of violin and one which is really innovative is the NEOLIN.

Might be an interesting instrument to experiment with, but with a base price of 2247 Euros (about $3600 US) for most here, myself included, it would be a fairly expensive experiment.

Where are your US retailers located? I'm a player of stringed-instruments (and piano and harmonica). Generally the guitar, which I've been playing almost forty-five years, but also the mandolin, dulcimer, banjo, bouzouki, zither and violin (with varying degrees of proficiency in each, I'm a relatively poor violinist) and have over sixty stringed instruments.

I'm a completely poor violinist, in fact I'm not a violinist and have no intentions to venture into violin playing, but still have over 30 stringed instruments.....it is possible, but then again, 
I'm only half the age of Dadfad
