A man goes to the doctor. Says he's depressed. He says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. The doctor says "The treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him, that should pick you up." The man bursts into tears. He says "But doctor... I am Pagliacci."

The current EU's rapporteur for Acta has strongly advised that the ratification of the treaty should not happen: http://www.bbc.co.uk...nology-17728045
In another article he says ACTA would force ISP's, hosting sites, and search engines, to play the role of a private police (which they are not and should not be) at the service of intellectual property (and the content cartel of course) he says that's not acceptable to him.
