I'm a big fan of Mark Hoppus from Blink-182

Alright, that was silly.  I like Klaus Voorman, he's a mean cat.  And he drew Revolver.

Claypool is the best at his style that I've heard.. Beyond tht is more than I'm willing to claim.

I put it half on his playing and half on his showmanship. He's amazing to watch, saw him in 06 with Rasputina - another incredible band, btw. Two cellists and a drummer who looks like a pirate.

lol great tune. A buddy of mine went to see his penis. It's kept at a museum/sexual health clinic. Apparently when you go in they ask if you're there to get tested or see the penis. It's 13 inches long. In a jar.

Damn what a legend; how much of the mythos surrounding him is true Sixy? figure you'd know.

Depends on what myths you know. The neat package of Rasputin is that he preached a brand of orthodox Christianity in which God wants to forgive you, but needs something for which to forgive you. The easiest way to, in his mind, was to be a sexual deviant: he'd often organize orgies to this end.

His ascension was a result of his treatment of Tsarevich Alexander, Nick II's son, who was a hemophiliac. His death was brutal and involved poisoning him with cyanide, shooting him a number of times, and rolling him up in cloth and dumping him into the Malaya Nevka River.

I was always fascinated with his death, but never knew how much of it was true. To my understanding, the massive beating/shooting/poisoning/attempted drowning didn't kill him, but rather exposure?

Likely the first bit of shooting did him in: two bullets one to kidney and one through liver that lodged in his spine. Then one more in the head for good measure. It's a myth that it took the drowning to do him in. Drowning in the Neva River is pretty big myth for Petersburg/Leningrad/Petrograd. Peter the Great did die of exposure after jumping in to save a drowning man.
