Have you had B8s? I think they are on par sound-wise with anything zildjan has.

''b8s are good for begginners and so r the pro's. The aa and the hh range are good....But if yu want a good cymbal that will last you ages, buy zildgian because they have the biggest ranges of cast bronze cymbals and could be suited for all styles. No zilzgians r bad. the hhx evolutions sabiens so sound quite nice but cost more than some zilgians. If you play all styles, use zilgian a or k. ''
ok some more info from my drummer:
''pasties are quite good for the money. You could even try meinl amun for hi hats and rides. They r similar to the zilgians master sound range.''

who make the best cymbals sabien/zildgen/paste or other
I prefer Zildjian Cymbals! They are my fave ever!
