Lots of Rain. Lots of flooding. It's both amazing and sad. My house was unscathed, but it's surreal to drive down neighborhoods and see huge piles of trash in front of every house. Some people lost everything. But last I heard, Hurricane's were a liberal conspiracy anyway, so maybe nothing happened and I'm part of the fake news machine. Who knows?

It makes you realize how small we really are as a species.  It was one of the times being a doomsday prepper must have paid off - in having the go-bag, a plan of getting out etc.  Admittedly, if it was me I'd just go to a motel somewhere, but still.

Glad you're ok  - what's the feeling on the ground there?

Not much to tell more than any media has already covered. Some roads were flooded a week after all the rain so traffic was horrible. My house didn't flood personal, but it was real close. The street over flooded. So I feel really lucky. But most people have this communal rallying about the situation. No despair or whining. Just a bunch of folks rebuilding. Of course shortly after we got ours, Florida got an even bigger one. Always trying to one up Texas that wang of a state.

We will feel the effects of this for a long time though. Businesses are booming, employment is way up. All around good things.

Yay, survival! Let us all endure beyond the elements and their whims! But mostly you, Audible. Sean too.
