You know, I was going to mention the fact that RF asked us to ID the guitar player, but I guess that would have confused you guys further. Apparently, you all think that guitars and basses are one in the same - I thought you were above that!!!

Dude we were just discussing something. Not necessarily related to you.

Yep! Sorry to hijack your thread........

Mainly it was the musings of an old fart...........

By all means, you should go for it! My point was only that one doesn't necessarily need "top-o-the-line" equipment.......
Sorry again!!
RF
Oh, my bad. That makes a bit more sense now. Yeah, you don't need top of the line equipment. In fact, sometimes the lower level equipment is "better" or preferred. Anyways, I just started my new job today

Hey, man, I didn't mean to touch a nerve or anything. I just saw a rig and really liked it, and I'll probably work my arse off this summer to own it. Do I need it? No, but it's something I'd really like to have. It's not going to earn me money or anything, but it has a good tone and I liked the options ('specially that high C on the Ibanez). And, if it ever does help me earn money or whatever, I have plenty of headroom to play some good sized gigs. So, in all honesty, I could be planning for the future.

Honestly, mahrous, do any of us really "need" amps of any size?
No, I really don't need that much in the way of wattage, but the tone that I got out of it was awful pretty.

Hey Mahrous, how about a little inlay work like this?

You really are doing top notch work, mate. Perhaps sometime in the near future, we can talk about a perspective purchase.
