#3527982 So is Will_Wood a professional musician now or something?

Posted by masterofpuppets56 on 09 July 2020 - 08:32 PM

Someone showed me a band called Will Wood and the Tapeworms a couple weeks ago and according to Wikipedia that Will Wood is known for sort of straddling the line between making every public appearance a piece of performance art and just being a pathological liar. And I thought to myself, hey, I used to know of a guy named Will Wood, and I believe he also had tapeworms. Anyway, the mystery may never be solved. I wonder if Will Wood and the Tapeworms have any songs about hanging out with their girlfriend while she's tripping on cough syrup and then getting accused of sexual assault by her dad? I think that would make a good song.

I'm proud of that guy, he beat the odds.

Anyway, hi.

Good god, is that really what my signature looks like?

dude i know youre gay. ive seen photos of you where a guy creamed all over your face

Some of that cream came from girls, man. It doesn't mean anything.

I'm mostly only gay when I practice jujitsu. Mmm, physical contact with muscular sweaty guys.

It's frustrating, the connotations that surround the groups that I identify with. There are 2.2 billion Christians on Earth, and every time one of them does anything or feels a certain way, I'm automatically condemned or judged for it.

Damnit James, you can't just go crusading around Europe raping Jews and stuff. What have I told you about that?

#3306978 Anyone seen Alice in Chains live in the past 18 years or so?

Posted by masterofpuppets56 on 19 September 2010 - 12:28 PM

I'm really tempted to get a ticket to see Alice in Chains next month, but I've never listened to anything of theirs post Layne Stanley. Is their current singer any good?

Lol. I'd say I'm about 20% gay, not much more than that. It's pretty rare that I find myself attracted to a guy.

#3306967 What do you want?

I want someone to pay me for my opinions and thoughts.

I voted against the gay marriage ban in California... I find it quite offensive that straight couples are given rights that gay couples aren't.

That said, when it comes down to it, the issue at hand (at least in California) was whether gay couples can legally use the word "marriage" to define their union or not. How do we decide to what scenarios a word can apply other than by popular opinion? I support gay marriage, but I don't necessarily think that any couple has a right to use a specific word to refer to itself. That's up to the majority to decide.

Now, as far as the actual tangible rights go, i.e. hospital visits, tax breaks, etc., I say fuck the public opinion. Letting straight couples do stuff that gay couples can't is fucked up and based on obsolete principles. But the use of the word? Hell, I'll call a gay couple "married" if they want me to. But if nobody else includes gay couples in the definition of marriage, then they're not really married, are they?

I expect some degree of flaming for this post... flame away.

I'm fine with gay marriage. I think it's awfully presumptuous to insinuate that the only people speaking out against gay marriage are religious people.

I've never met or heard of an atheist or agnostic who's against gay marriage. I don't claim to have met everyone ever, so I'm sure there are a few of them. But for the most part, it is the religious types who are opposed to gay marriage.

How can we not be racist when races keep acting in specific, almost race-wide patterns, and some of those patterns are stupid or annoying?

#3262406 fun, poppy ukulele songs

I've just received a ukulele. What are some fun songs I can learn on it? I'm currently learning "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz.
