Congrats!  My plan is for my boy (just turned three) is for him to learn the drums.  That gives me another 13 years to actually learn to play the guitar properly and then bang when he turns sixteen I can use his talent to take me to stardom!

My favourite two errors of the night were on Getting away with it by Electronic where I just play a simple rhythm behind the main riff, but I play it without a capo (unlike the guy who plays the riff) I started in the wrong key, thought I was correct so maybe out of tune, quick tune check and fine so give the other guitarist an evil eye thinking his capo was on the wrong fret until I noticed the bass player laughing and shaking his head at me!

Second was hitting the wrong solo patch for Heard it thriough the grapevine, instead of a nice blues boost I got a rock wah effect I use for King of New York by FLC, strangely enough though it worked quite well.

Well it was a strange one tonight!!!  The bits I messed up no one noticed but me  (which is usually the case).  First set was a definate case of finding my bearings again after a five year lay off although the second set I think I could have done with calming down as I got miles too confident and cocky lol.

So tonight is my first gig in over 5 years and a couple of hours ago I had a wave of nerves.  I'd completely forgotton about that nervous excitement feeling and I'm quite enjoying it lol.  I remember going from my first ever gig where I was literally sick beforehand to my last gig where it was just another gig.

So any interesting/comical gig nerve stories?

I never wanted one but when I met my wife one came as part of the package and since then she's become more mine than my wife's.

Heres my partner in in crime Libby (although I refer to her as Libbity Shaniqua)

How do and that!!

Just bought a BossGT-100 and although I'm loving playing around with it I've got band practice this week and I'm not sure I'll have it set up for all the songs we do in time due to work, family etc.  Like an idiot I didn't make notes of my previous effects before I traded in my previous pedal board.  So basically I'm asking if anyone knows of any good patch sharing sites or if there is now a thread on here already?
