Well! Thanks to everybody for the answers and tips. Anyway, I have decided to use Cakewalk, since that program seems to fit me the most smile.gif

Still uses FL Studio for the drums though tongue.gif

Again, thanks!

If you are using Windows Media Center, that might be your problem. I do know that WMC is problematic with numerous guitar devices including M-Audio products and GuitarPort.

No, I don't use that. I tend to avoid programs that have the word "windows" in it. I have no need of messing up my computer more than necessary smile.gif

Alright, anyone in here that uses a Guitarport for recording?

In that case, could anyone recommend a good recording program? I've tried to record in FL Studio, it works but it sounds really awful since FL seems to "take over" the GuitarPort (don't ask me to explain). And forget Cubase, way too advanced.
A simple program, without any inference when it comes to volume and settings ect. Pro Tools? CakeWalk Pro Audio? I just dont wanna get a bunch of different programs and finding out that they does'nt work like I want them to.

I use cakewalk guitartracks pro and it works with guitar port fine. Guitar tracks is really easy to use, it looks and works just like a basic mixer. If i can work it, anyone can. smile.gif

I read a little ībout it and it seems good, so I'll probably check it out. Hopefully it will work as good as it says. Thanks for the tip smile.gif
