Cinnamon works great in a tomato based sauce. It's standard in Greece, you know the people who invented Feta.

Perhaps. But as we both know, "a tomato based sauce" does not equate to ketchup. And thank you for your tone, the patronising was duly noted. But for extra effect I'd have finished with a "?"

OK, I accept this, but personally I don't go to the theatre to become a part of it. I go to listen to how Henry V addresses his Band of Brothers before the battle of Agencourt, or to witness how Hamlet descends into madness. Nevertheless, you make a fine point, my liege.

But given that this thread is about reading, you should probably read Othello like M_M says.

Also, I realise this post ^^ sounds unnecessarily aggressive. My bad, man.

I'm going to echo Bob's choice of Camus, but recommend specifically The Outsider and The Plague.

I'd also recommend Emile Zola "The Drinking Den" or something with a title similar to that (i.e. related to alcohol - dunno the name in English.)

Shakespeare - Henry V / Hamlet

Dickens - Bleak House (if not solely for the description of London in the opening chapter)

Ever thought about poetry? Percy Bysshe Shelley - Ozymandias

EDIT: Add The Tempest if you're going to read The Bard.

Sarah Harding has the face of an old leather couch.

So...it's alright to sit on it?...

#3320842 So Ireland.....ur next ....

Not unprecedented, but you can't deny that this ain't a global recession from every angle possible. The economies of England and the United States are pretty fucked as well and unable to recover.

So what is a global recession? A down-turn in United Kingdom (not england, good effort though)the USA, Portugal, Ireland and Greece?

Actually, I ignored the sheer stupidity of this post. "Unable to recover"? How, in a free market is it possible for a state/individual not to have the potential to recover? It may take more than a week, but there is no reason the US and the UK can't "recover" over time, like Ireland. By the way, massive supporter of the slow and steady policy the European Commission are pushing on Irish banks.

By "unable to recover" i meant they haven't recovered thus far. and yes, a little longer than a week is all it takes. go back to sleep, kiddo.

Charming. Anyway, the internet provider I'm using at the moment keeps messing up. I'll write my response to my critics in Word tomorrow and try and respond before the internet blacks out. Don't worry paintmeblack, I promise not to resort to petty, childish insults :)
