I just logged in for the first time in a couple years. Never posted much but glad to see a lot of original members are still somewhat active here. I joined in 2005 when I was 13. This site/forum was fundamental in my development as a musician. I occasionally think of this one time I posted here--in fact, it may have been my first post--asking how to get Kurt Cobain's tone from the Nevermind album. Someone gave me some good advice, telling me to open the back of my 10 watt Ibanez amp up and look for a knob labeled S-U-C-K and turn that all the way up. As a new guitar player at the time, it went right over my head and I did it--definitely voided the warranty on that sucker.
