Awesome talent!! Did loads to bring blues rock to the masses especially in films like roadhouse. Sadly missed.

I've got a crappy Encore that I do all my learning on. A Fender semi acoustic and an Ibanez S470 which is really nice. Well it suits me.
And a Fender fromtman Amp.
Didn't play for a long time and all my old stuff went,so I'm just beginning to build up again as funds allow.

Joe Bonamassa - Sloe Gin. Saw him last night in Manchester,UK. Awesome guitar player.
If you like the electric blues check out Eddie Martin from Bristol. www.eddiemartin.com
Pre med - the truth about us. Ex Hawkwind bassist Alun Davey with the guitar talents of Eamon O'Neil
Third Stage - Boston and Wait till they change the backdrop by Jonathan Kelly. Cheating a bit cos they are on vinyl.

Agreed Slash,John Etheridge is a brill guitarist. Isaw him play at a small pub in Anglesey,North Wales, some years ago now. But what a gig,he played everything from jazz fusion to Jimi Hendrix. If he's playing near you, people,go see him.
I remember Jake Thackery aswell, always played on late night Manchester radio ages ago.
That brought back another memory, talking about the welsh gig,we saw Victor Brox at the same venue, check him out.
