Kudos to you both for keeping the music alive. I dig that. The world could do with more of that. The best I got is drunkly playing the guitar by the fire, and it's not even songs people can sing along to either. I refuse to learn Kumbaya My Lord! etc.

To my thing I tell you all though. I sometimes worry we are destined to forget each other in our endeavour to find ourselves as well as some semblance of peace. That the very act of communicating is both punctuating and signing a goodbye letter, and maybe that's all life really. Recognizing, observing, perceiving each other as we live and die. As if to say "you're not alone, we all have death in common, not to mention the sidewinders of life to live with along the way."

Also, I draw, paint, and otherwise art talented, moving, occasionally half-naked/naked ladies sometimes. Oh! I also pontificate on things I don't know anything about. And overshare.

As a black man with a very Muslim sounding name....shaheim and a Muslim middle name Abdullah....(it was the 70s...parents did that shit) I can honestly say...I'm scared. Racism, previously resigned to the shadows, can now step proudly into the light emboldened that it once again is the de facto stance of America.

Bad things are coming.

Pogba is a great player. Players don't always slot straight into a team and deliver Man of the Match performances - sometimes it takes time. He'll be fine.

Rooney should be dropped though. All strikers drop off after reaching 30, and Rooney is no midfielder - genuinely worrying that he thinks he is one. I've long thought Rooney would burn out early - it's common in players that hit their stride young. Michael Owen was the same.

It's a war of attrition! He who can live with being dirty longest vs she who can nag the most effectively

You get some cruel bastards about. I heard a cat crying outside, so I opened the door and there were 4 blokes in Man Utd shirts playing football with it. I was just about to phone the RSPCA when the cat went 1-0 up.

I have never really understood hunting for "sport". I know some people who hunt, and largely they hunt deer for the meat. I can understand that more - whether or not the hunt itself is enjoyable, they at least get something out of it at the end, it isn't the same sort of waste of life. Hunting for sport is just killing something because you can kill it, and then going "Hey! Look! I killed a thing" and thinking that's cool. I really don't get that at all.

I can see pros and cons. To be fair I'm not overly arsed. City, Chelsea, United and even Stoke are ahead of Liverpool in terms of spending money on players over the last 5 years. While I may have made reference to it before, I'm not really that arsed. I'm still happy that we managed to get up there with City and Chelsea. Yes, it's disappointing to lose our grasp on the title at the end but if you'd have told me at the start of the season we'd be top of the league at this point I've laughed right in your face.

How much did you weigh before you got the squats? Remember to stay hydrated.

You know how, like, people drug you and steal your kidneys and that for transplants? I think I know what's going to happen if Rooney and Fellaini ever share a room.

i hear a lot of talk about Stone Roses but can't think of a single song by them. what would be a good one to listen to?

Off the top of my head I'd say: she bangs the drums, waterfall, made of stone, I am the resurrection, love spreads. Fools gold for something more dance-y.

If Alex and Dave see this, more input will follow

That's cos stone roses are awesome whilst dire straits are appropriately named.
