In Topic: I sanded the paint and gloss off of my guitar

I would use an electric sander. Much, much faster to get the rough stuff off. Then just go from there with some fine wet and dry paper to get the uber smooth finish for paint. And remember, a good coat of primer is a must if you want a solid colour as opposed to the grain of the wood.

The acoustics arn't mine, I've got two, which arn't pictured there. I'm also currently building a strat upfrom parts, repainted it with a metallic blue. I'm currently getting rid of the blue in the cavity, and painting that a yellow, then putting a perspex pickguard on.

And the mixing desks arn't mine, they're the ones we're using to record.

Yeah, I seen the strat in a previous thread. (I think, or is it deja vu?) Should be nice when it's completed.

You have indeed.

He's a n00b at posting for sure. But that's a nice setup. A lot of money's worth there. I think I could manage without 4 or 5 accoustics though, and get a few more electrics.
