Regrettably, the only thing I've actually contributed towards his royalty was buying his Compact Disc 'Live @ the Regal'. This was, I think, a little before the YouTube era. When I put the disc on, I was quite surprised that he could be as intense as a blues player can be.
I've tried to play a lot of his materials, just bit by bit, and it is still very difficult to copy his subtle touches. If I had focused on learning King's style of playing, I sincerely do think that I could have been a better guitar player than what I am today.
I am so glad that you got to see him play twice! Could you please share your experience? I remember listening to an online interview of B.B. King where he mentions how he tries to move with his audience and become one with them.
