Ex girlfriend called me up

Well emailed actually..We don't have much (read 'Any') contact. Dedicated the following song to me:

Rather flattering in its own way as she's not one for dramatics and for the most part has respected my wish for zero contact.
Also, this has been my favorite song for the last few weeks. insanely infectious I think.
What's interesting is I knew with certainty she'd eventually hear it and contact me to let me know how apropos that particular song is to the way things are with she and I.

Can't say this is thread worthy, but Im sharing it anyway.

Ever had an Ex dedicate a song to you?

Its ok, no real surprises save for one. worth the price of admission, but nowhere near as good as The Dark Knight. It doesn't redefine anything.

I've seen it twice, first time through I was disappointed with how formulaic it was. There's also a distinct lack of a stand out character. I felt even when telling the story of a team at least one character needs a discernible arc. Think Wolverine in the first X-men. Robin from How I met your mother is in it. I didn't like that. Scarlett Johansson is marginally better than she was in Iron Man II but still annoying. Hawkeye got ripped off in terms of screen time. Everyone else played well together and the Hulk was finally awesome. three cheers for Mark Ruffalo...never thought I'd say that. Loki is less defined as a villain this time and doesn't really bring anything new to the table. pity

the second time around all expectations were gone and I was free to just enjoy the movie knowing full well what to expect. There's actually a lot to like and very fun to watch.

So....you know you're getting old when the Beastie Boys start dropping off
