A couple of things:
Get a DB meter so you get an idea of the volume difference when your pedals are on. It can fool your ears.

Tilt your amp way back. I try to lean it back so there is about 8-10 inches for ventilation. This allows you to play loud but without it being offensive. I do this on all stages. Small and large.

Only mic what's needed. That means vocals. Run everything else through amps and match each other's volume.

Use you volume knob. If you're not soling your volume should be back halfway or so. Turn it up for solos. Don't leave it at the same volume for the whole set.
